No matter! I was in Victoria with my friend Lorraine at the Royal BC Museum. We went to see the Treasures Exhibit from the British Museum. I was speechless coming out. What an amazing experience, to be so close to really important historical objects, to see items that were created from hundreds of thousands of years ago to the present.
The rain was a bonus, on the ferry trip back, we saw two killer whales playing, right outside the window where we were sitting, and then there was the most amazing rainbow I have ever seen (and at that point, the camera batteries died). We saw about 5 bald eagles in the trees as well. A super day, a feast for the eyes and brain to be sure!
