Little Floyd on a snowy day

This young male hummngbird comes to the feeder many times every day. He has a branch on our dogwood tree that he sits on when he isn't feeding. I hope to one day get a photo of the beautiful purple gorget (yes, I had to look that up, I didn't know the name either )

My favorite dog park

I love this park, I feel very safe walking alone with Daisy, as the area is very open.
And much to my surprise, this photo taken with my iPhone, turned out beautifully, no tweaking required!

Awww...

We had the pleasure of looking after Daisy's brother Bentley last month. This picture is not posed! The two of them are almost 3 years old, and now, rather than constantly cavorting, they are spending more quiet time lying together. I am so pleased by this, it means that Daisy and I will soon be able to go to the Seniors Centre up the street to visit!
