I am a self taught, constantly learning photographer. Don't ask me what an ISO is, or how to use a manual setting, I haven't a clue - I just enjoy the process of capturing a moment in time. I hope you enjoy my photos!

An experiment
This photo was an experiment. There are so many functions on my camera that I don't know how to use. The camera came with a CD - I really need to sit down and watch it, one section at a time, and then play.
I wanted to focus on the tree branch and have a soft background. This photo exceeded my expectations, it has become one of my all time favorites. Most people are cursing the snow - I love it, because it muffles noise and brightens the outdoors in a softer way than sunlight.

I know what you mean about all the functions. Maybe one day I will learn all that my camera can do! Good job on the photo, you accomplished just what you wanted. I love it, too!
